Role: Sound Designer

Tasks: Lead the sound department for a whole year while this process was workshoped and preformed. Built and found sound effects that related to the show as well as worked with the creative teams idea. Recorded pre-show ambiance and used Pro Tools to cut and assign location to each part of the aubiance. Worked primarly with Qlab, Wireless workbench, R1, CL Editor, and Dante. Created an audio workbook that kept track of I/O, patching, Cues, and A2 paperwork! Learned how to relay information in a creative setting as well as technical to the production team (PSM). Worked alongside the A1 to build the exact balance desired by the creatives as well as herself. Worked with a full pit; selected mic + placement as well as EQ for each instrument.
